Timberland partnered with WITHIN to launch on TikTok Shop for the first time. As a legacy brand with an established customer base and strong existing channels, the challenge wasn’t simply getting live on the platform. It was proving that TikTok Shop could drive meaningful, profitable sales while reaching new audiences and reinforcing Timberland’s cultural relevance.

Launching Timberland on TikTok Shop required aligning product strategy, creator partnerships, paid amplification, and measurement to build a program that could scale profitably from day one.

When determining which products to feature, WITHIN and the Timberland team decided to prioritize more niche products that fit naturally into creator-led and affiliate content. This positioned TikTok Shop as a discovery channel and helped introduce new products without oversaturating Timberland’s most recognizable items.

Creator and affiliate content are the foundation of TikTok Shop, so building the right mix was essential. We partnered with both blue-collar, workwear-focused creators and fashion and lifestyle influencers to reflect the two sides of Timberland’s core audience. To identify the right partners, Timberland hosted a booth at a TikTok creator event that gave creators direct exposure to the brand and helped the WITHIN and Timberland teams identify those who already understood the product and culture.

Once the Shop was launched and showed consistent organic performance, paid amplification was introduced to scale volume. Throughout the launch, WITHIN worked closely with the Timberland team to align commissions, fees, and media investment to profitability.

Since its launch, Timberland’s TikTok Shop has become a meaningful revenue driver for the brand, ranking among the top 25 footwear stores on the platform within its first four months.

The results demonstrated that a premium brand can drive volume on TikTok Shop without relying on heavy discounting. By focusing on the right products, creators, and pacing, Timberland was able to sell at full price while maintaining brand integrity and profitability on the platform.
