Challenge

An ecommerce retail brand had seen early success on Reddit. Heading into Presidents’ Day, one of the largest sales events of the year, the brand wanted to build on that momentum and make Reddit a reliable source of new customers at scale.

Solution

WITHIN had already been running Dynamic Product Ads for the brand on Reddit, and because the brand is highly visual, we saw Reddit’s new Collection Ad format as a way to strengthen prospecting with a more immersive, shoppable ad experience. We made the format a core part of the brand’s Presidents’ Day prospecting campaign, leading with a lifestyle photo of its best-selling products to introduce the brand to new customers. Each product then appeared in its own tile below the image, giving shoppers a direct path to the items that interested them.

Results

Using Reddit Collection Ads, WITHIN helped the brand achieve a 15X return on ad spend (ROAS) through prospecting, while driving cost per purchase 20% below average.

The campaign showed that Reddit could be more than an awareness and consideration channel. By pairing prospecting with a shoppable format built around the brand’s best-selling products, WITHIN showed that Reddit could efficiently convert new customers and drive strong lower-funnel performance.
